Personally I dislike the 'All blacks' livery, black for me does not suit any commercial airline. I always thought despite advancement in paint technology, white was a necessary colour due to expansion/contraction under extreme climate conditions and less heat absorbed on fuselage. Obviously not anymore.
As Henry Ford said, "you can have any color you like as long as it's back." His reason was that it's the paint which absorbs the most heat and thus is the fastest drying.
Air NZ's scheme wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't accompanied by "crazy about rugby" - what about the people who play soccer, netball, cricket, baseball, basketball, volleyball, hockey....
