the NZR guard

One example of an NZ industrial film made in the 1950s featured the duties of a guard (conductor) on the railways, which ran for about 25 minutes.  We would like to have provided details on such films in our book Celluloid Dreams.  The boss of the Film Archive with the huge budget she allocated for her book New Zealand Film (see earlier post) could have done this, but didn't bother. Women are not noted for their interest in such subjects.
