express train through the city, Syracuse, NY


There are quite a few instances of railway lines that shared (and still share) streets in towns, for example Kawakawa and Wellington in NZ, Rockhampton in Australia, but this example in the middle of the city of Syracuse looks rather more impressive.

The New York Central Railroad's Empire State Express ran from Syracuse to Buffalo at that time.  Info on the locomotive assigned to this train is on this webpage.
